But their true capabilities may be masked because the language they must use is not their own. <P> Regardless of someone's job duties, communication is at the core of success. Meetings, email, discussions, reports<FONT FACE=symbol SIZE=2>-</FONT>each communication situation can move the enterprise ahead, ensure connections, and build careers. Ideas and information must be revealed clearly through each communication. <P> But accented speech<FONT FACE=symbol SIZE=2>-</FONT>in meetings, discussions, and presentation<FONT FACE=symbol SIZE=2>-</FONT>limits understanding. Likewise, when the writing in emails and reports is distracting or confusing, technical expertise is hidden. Vital information and new ideas are unintentionally concealed when expectations differ about how speakers and audiences interact.
